What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidence based and skills focused therapy. It helps individuals accept their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while also teaching skills to change them. DBT has proven effective in helping with: depression, anxiety, BPD, PTSD, eating disorders, substance use disorder, suicidal behavior, and self-harm.
Though, many who have gone through a DBT program will say it can benefit just about anyone who is struggling and willing to receive help. *
Sadly, finding a quality DBT program can be expensive, and some people aren't even aware that it's an option. That is why we have created this scholarship program, to help those who can't help themselves.
